How did I become a Christian?

To be honest I always thought I was. Even as a child I remember talking to God and going to church, occasionally. Then one day, at a Christian event, I was thinking about all I’d heard and talking to God in my head when it struck me. My faults, my sin and how I was observing from the side lines and had never made that commitment. I fell to my knees and asked Jesus to come into my heart…that was the moment (AP)

Life gets in the way!

I’d been a Christian for many years and attended church regularly. But work and my home life got very busy. I wasn’t getting much out of church, the same hymns, the same themes in the sermon. So I stopped going. Nearly two years later I realised I had this feeling something was missing. My life was still busy, work was going well but I still felt an emptiness. I found a new church and I quickly  felt a sense of purpose return as I reconnected with God and Jesus. (AP)
