What we do

Home Groups and Bible Studies

We have a number of small groups who meet at different times during the week. This is something that started during the Covid lockdown when larger gatherings were not allowed. Meetings online have become gatherings in various homes and continue to be a great blessing to those taking part. Bible studies have certainly become a very important part of our church family life.

Weekly Prayer Meetings

A number of us meet on Wednesday morning for a time of prayer. One person will lead the meeting and help us focus on particular subject or area of concern. On the first Wednesday of each month we concentrate on the missionary organisations we support. Any updates on progress or other developments are shared and we can ask the Lord to undertake in specific situations.

Other Meetings and Activities

We are a very busy church in most weeks there is something going on to involve the church family and others we are able to invite. From art classes and crafting sessions to gatherings to sing some of the "Hymns we Love" and learn about how and why they were written. We enjoy coffee mornings and any opportunity to join in conversation and fellowship. We hold Quiz Nights which are very popular with our neighbours and friends who don't attend our other meetings or services. The proceedings include a fish & chip supper and we always take the opportunity to bring the gospel message to all who attend.

Some other activities are more formal additions to our calendar and contribute to our efforts of outreach and witness. There is a 'Menmeet' programme and our monthly Tea&3 event. Search our Activities to find out more.
