We try to support these organisations as much as we can and we certainly support them in prayer. We dedicate the first church prayer meeting of every month specifically to our missionary partners. We also hold ‘Missionary Sundays’ during the year when representatives of particular organisations who are able to visit, to lead us in our morning worship and tell us more about their work. On these occasions we normally provide a ‘missionary lunch’ where we take the opportunity for us to ask questions and learn more. OTHER WAYS WE OFFER SUPPORT We help financially when we can with some regular contributions and also specific initiatives on occasions such a our Harvest celebrations when our offering goes to Operation Agri and the goods we collect go to the local Basics Bank. We also support ‘Tools With A Mission’ by being a collection point for donated tools and equipment in our area,which are able to store until a van from TWAM picks them up from us. |
